Makonde Photography prints are priced to cover professional printing costs and provide a small additional margin that will be donated to a charity operating in Mikindani.

In this way all proceeds from the photographs will go back to the community where they were taken. When placing an order please take a look at the charities operating in Mikindani and choose which you would like to donate to; Edukaid, the Breakfast Club or Trade Aid.

Medium Format Images – Available with Lightjet Printing

These images were captured on 6x6cm medium format film; they are packed with detail and have a high resolution, ideal for large prints. They are printed to the highest standards at our chosen professional lab using a Fuji Lightjet printer. This high quality machine converts the digital image to laser light and exposes it onto Fuji Crystal Archive paper, which has an archival permanence of over sixty years. This state of the art paper is reputed to be the best quality available, resulting in an image of incredible clarity and sharpness.

Prints are available with a gloss or matt finish and each order is despatched to customers in a protective roll tube by the Royal Mail Special Delivery service. Within the UK, the cost of postage and packing is approximately £15 per order.
